TIP Editorial

TIP Editorial is the byline on Field Notes that are prepared with AI assistance for Trader Intelligence Profile (TIP). Every TIP Editorial note starts from one question traders ask, names the published research it uses, keeps that research separate from TIP's own interpretation, and ends with a check you can run against your own trading record.

How is a TIP Editorial note prepared?

A TIP Editorial note goes through three recorded passes before it is published. The editorial pass removes claims the sources do not support. The claims pass records what each cited study found, who it studied and where its limits are. The conversion pass checks that the note is useful on its own, without taking the Free Trader Profile.

Those passes are not an independent human or scientific review, and no TIP Editorial note claims one. Cited researchers have not reviewed or endorsed TIP's application of their work.

Who stands behind TIP Editorial?

TIP Editorial notes are published by Trader Intelligence Profile. Jon Campeau, TIP's founder, writes under his own name, and a note carries his byline only when he wrote it. His notes, background and profiles are on the About page. The scoring and routing rules behind TIP are in the methodology, and the published work it draws on is in the research foundation.
